Wednesday, April 22, 2020 Let’s talk about ‘The Classics’ Hello everyone, Some of you might recognise titles such as ‘Alice in Wonderland’, ‘Pride and Prejudice’, ‘Oliver Twist’, ‘The Wonderful Wizard of Oz’ etc etc. These are books just like any other, belonging to a variety of genres such as Romance, Adventure, Historical Fiction etc., but what makes them so special is that due to their age and the impact that they have had on literature, they also belong to a category called ‘The Classics’. The classics are nothing to be afraid of or be intimidated by, they are just books, and they are the ones that are mostly available online for free because people LOVE reading them (myself included) Here is a small list of websites which offer free access to ‘The Classics’. Some of them only allow you to read the books online whereas others also allow you to download them on your device. Feel free to browse these websites and jump into a new adventure by starting one of the books!
