Sixth Form

Admissions Criteria

Student applying to the Sixth Form must have secured a minimum of 5 GCSEs (including mathematics and English) at a grade 6. Students must then meet the requirement of each specific subject as listed below:

Subject	Entry Requirements
Art	Grade 7 in art
Biology	Grade 7 in biology/combined science and grade 6 in mathematics
Chemistry	Grade 7 in chemistry/combined science and grade 6 in mathematics
Economics	Grade 6 in English literature or language and grade 7 in maths
English Literature	Grade 6 in English Literature and at least a Grade 6 in English Language
French	Grade 6 in French
Further Mathematics	Grade 8 in mathematics
Geography	Grade 6 in geography and mathematics
History	Grade 6 in history and/or English.
Mathematics	Grade 7 in mathematics
Music	Garde 7 in music
Psychology	Grade 6 in biology/combined science and mathematics
Physical Education	Grade 6 in PE GCSE or Distinction in Cambridge Nationals Sports Studies Grade 6 in biology/combined science
Physics	Grade 7 in physics/combined science and mathematics
Sociology	Grade 6 in sociology GCSE or grade 6 in English language/literature
