Homework is an extremely valuable part of learning at Goresbrook School. We want students to develop into young people who are able to manage their time effectively, maintain focus even when not in a school environment, and simply develop a work ethic that makes them stand out from the crowd. Students are therefore set homework every day. This is done according to a homework timetable so that they know which subjects they will have on a particular day. All homework is set via Microsoft Teams. This is to ensure that students are able to complete the homework even if they miss a particular lesson. All homework must be completed regardless of whether or not students have attended the lesson. Some homework will be set on other platforms such as Hegarty Maths, Languagenut, Educake etc.
